Add a friend - Enter the user name of your friend in the search field and press Enter (or press the button marked with a "+").

Remove a friend - Hold down the CTRL-key (CMD-key on Mac) and click the friend to select. Then press the trash can button.

Send a page - When you share a web page just press the PushIt icon in the Chrome toolbar. When the friends list shows up, press the friend that you want to share the page with. The PushIt window closes automatically when the page has been sent.

If you want to add a short message to your pushed page, CTRL+click (CMD-click on Mac) one or more friends to select. Then type an optional text in the Message field and press Enter (or press the button labeled "Pushit").

Change the way you are being pushed

Click to select the Settings tab and play around with the following:

• Play Sound - Check to hear sound effects for various actions including when pages are being pushed to you.
  
• Select Tab - When checked a pushed page tab will get selected. This may either get your attention or annoy you.
  
• Show Notification - When checked a small notification message with a thumbnail of the web page will be shown in the lower right corner when a page is pushed to you.
  
• Auto Open - When checked the page will automatically show up as a new tab in the Chrome browser. When unchecked you have to click the thumnail picture in the notification window to display the pushed page.
  
• Auto Open Delay - Here you can set how many seconds to wait from that the notification is shown and that the page automatically will be opened. A nifty feature when you want to have time to screen the pages sent to you before they show up on the big screen.
